Luke 1: 39-45

  • 39 ) And Mary arose in those days, and went into the hill country with haste, into a city of Juda,

  • 40 ) And entered into the house of Zacharias, and saluted Elisabeth.

  • 41 ) And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb, and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit:

  • 42 ) And she spoke out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb.

  • 43 ) And whence is this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?

  • 44 ) For, lo, as soon as the voice of your salutation sounded in mine ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy.

  • 45 ) And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.

  • 39 ) ആ നാളുകളിൽ മറിയ എഴുന്നേറ്റു മല നാട്ടിൽ ഒരു യെഹൂദ്യപട്ടണത്തിൽ ബദ്ധപ്പെട്ടു ചെന്നു,

  • 40 ) സെഖര്യാവിന്റെ വീട്ടിൽ എത്തി എലീശബെത്തിനെ വന്ദിച്ചു.

  • 41 ) മറിയയുടെ വന്ദനം എലീശബെത്ത് കേട്ടപ്പോൾ പിള്ള അവളുടെ ഗർഭത്തിൽ തുള്ളി, എലീശബെത്ത് പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവു നിറഞ്ഞവളായി,

  • 42 ) ഉച്ചത്തിൽ വിളിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞതു: സ്ത്രീകളിൽ നീ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൾ, നിന്റെ ഗർഭ ഫലവും അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെട്ടതു:

  • 43 ) എന്റെ കർത്താവിന്റെ മാതാവു എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വരുന്ന മാനം എനിക്കു എവിടെ നിന്നു ഉണ്ടായി.

  • 44 ) നിന്റെ വന്ദനസ്വരം എന്റെ ചെവിയിൽ വീണപ്പോൾ പിള്ള എന്റെ ഗർഭത്തിൽ ആനന്ദം കൊണ്ടു തുള്ളി.

  • 45 ) കർത്താവു തന്നോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതിന്നു നിവൃത്തിയുണ്ടാകും എന്നു വിശ്വസിച്ചവൾ ഭാഗ്യവതി.
