1 ) When he was come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him.
2 ) And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if you will, you can make me clean.
3 ) And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will, be you clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
4 ) And Jesus says unto him, See you tell no man, but go your way, show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.

1 ) അവൻ മലയിൽനിന്നു ഇറങ്ങിവന്നാറെ വളരെ പുരുഷാരം അവനെ പിന്തുടർന്നു.
2 ) അപ്പോൾ ഒരു കുഷ്ഠരോഗി വന്നു അവനെ നമസ്കരിച്ചു കർത്താവേ, നിനക്കു മനസ്സുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ എന്നെ ശുദ്ധമാക്കുവാൻ കഴിയും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
3 ) അവൻ കൈ നീട്ടി അവനെ തൊട്ടു: “എനിക്കു മനസ്സുണ്ടു, നീ ശുദ്ധമാക” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു, ഉടനെ കുഷ്ഠം മാറി അവൻ ശുദ്ധമായി.
4 ) യേശു അവനോടു: “നോക്കൂ, ആരോടും പറയരുതു, അവർക്കു സാക്ഷ്യത്തിന്നായി നീ ചെന്നു നിന്നെത്തന്നേ പുരോഹിതന്നു കാണിച്ചു, മോശെ കല്പിച്ച വഴിപാടു കഴിക്ക” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
