1 peter 3: 13-18

  • 13 ) And who is he that will harm you, if all of you be followers of that which is good?

  • 14 ) But and if all of you suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are all of you: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled,

  • 15 ) But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asks you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:

  • 16 ) Having a good conscience, that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.

  • 17 ) For it is better, if the will of God be so, that all of you suffer for well doing, than for evil doing.

  • 18 ) For Christ also has once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:

  • 15 ) നിങ്ങളിലുള്ള പ്രത്യാശയെക്കുറിച്ചു ന്യായം ചോദിക്കുന്ന ഏവനോടും സൌമ്യതയും ഭയഭക്തിയും പൂണ്ടു പ്രതിവാദം പറവാൻ എപ്പോഴും ഒരുങ്ങിയിരിപ്പിൻ.

  • 16 ) ക്രിസ്തുവിൽ നിങ്ങൾക്കുള്ള നല്ല നടപ്പിനെ ദുഷിക്കുന്നവർ നിങ്ങളെ പഴിച്ചു പറയുന്നതിൽ ലജ്ജിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നല്ലമനസ്സാക്ഷിയുള്ളവരായിരിപ്പിൻ.

  • 17 ) നിങ്ങൾ കഷ്ടം സഹിക്കേണം എന്നു ദൈവഹിതമെങ്കിൽ തിന്മ ചെയ്തിട്ടല്ല, നന്മ ചെയ്തിട്ടു സഹിക്കുന്നതു ഏറ്റവും നന്നു.

  • 18 ) ക്രിസ്തുവും നമ്മെ ദൈവത്തോടു അടുപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നീതിമാനായി നീതികെട്ടവർക്കു വേണ്ടി പാപംനിമിത്തം ഒരിക്കൽ കഷ്ടം അനുഭവിച്ചു, ജഡത്തിൽ മരണശിക്ഷ ഏൽക്കയും ആത്മാവിൽ ജീവിപ്പിക്കപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്തു.
