2 chronicles 15: 1-8

  • 1 ) And the Spirit of God came upon Azariah the son of Oded:

  • 2 ) And he went out to meet Asa, and said unto him, Hear all of you me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin, The LORD is with you, while all of you be with him, and if all of you seek him, he will be found of you, but if all of you forsake him, he will forsake you.

  • 3 ) Now for a long season Israel has been without the true God, and without a teaching priest, and without law.

  • 4 ) But when they in their trouble did turn unto the LORD God of Israel, and sought him, he was found of them.

  • 5 ) And in those times there was no peace to him that went out, nor to him that came in, but great vexations were upon all the inhabitants of the countries.

  • 6 ) And nation was destroyed of nation, and city of city: for God did vex them with all adversity.

  • 7 ) Be all of you strong therefore, and let not your hands be weak: for your work shall be rewarded.

  • 8 ) And when Asa heard these words, and the prophecy of Oded the prophet, he took courage, and put away the abominable idols out of all the land of Judah and Benjamin, and out of the cities which he had taken from mount Ephraim, and renewed the altar of the LORD, that was before the porch of the LORD.

2 chronicles 15: 1-8

  • 1 ) അനന്തരം ഓദേദിന്റെ മകനായ അസർയ്യാവിന്റെമേൽ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ആത്മാവു വന്നു.

  • 2 ) അവൻ ആസയെ എതിരേറ്റു അവനോടു പറഞ്ഞതെന്തെന്നാൽ: ആസയും എല്ലായെഹൂദ്യരും ബെന്യാമീന്യരും ആയുള്ളോരേ, എന്റെ വാക്കു കേൾപ്പിൻ, നിങ്ങൾ യഹോവയോടുകൂടെ ഇരിക്കുന്നേടത്തോളം അവൻ നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ ഇരിക്കും, അവനെ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിൽ നിങ്ങൾ അവനെ കണ്ടെത്തും, ഉപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിലോ അവൻ നിങ്ങളെയും ഉപേക്ഷിക്കും.

  • 3 ) യിസ്രായേൽ ഇപ്പോൾ ബഹുകാലമായി സത്യദൈവവും ഉപദേശിക്കുന്ന പുരോഹിതനും ന്യായപ്രമാണവും ഇല്ലാതിരിക്കുന്നു,

  • 4 ) എന്നാൽ അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ ഞെരുക്കത്തിൽ യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയിങ്കലേക്കു തിരിഞ്ഞു അവനെ അന്വേഷിച്ചപ്പോൾ, അവർ അവനെ കണ്ടെത്തി.

  • 5 ) ആ കാലത്തു പോക്കുവരവിന്നു സമാധാനം ഇല്ലാതവണ്ണം ദേശനിവാസികൾക്കു ഒക്കെയും മഹാകലാപങ്ങൾ ഭവിച്ചു.

  • 6 ) ദൈവം അവരെ സകലവിധകഷ്ടങ്ങളാലും പീഡിപ്പിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു ജാതി ജാതിയെയും പട്ടണം പട്ടണത്തെയും തകർത്തുകളഞ്ഞു.

  • 7 ) എന്നാൽ നിങ്ങൾ ധൈര്യമായിരിപ്പിൻ, നിങ്ങളുടെ കൈകൾ തളർന്നുപോകരുതു, നിങ്ങളുടെ പ്രവൃത്തിക്കു പ്രതിഫലം ഉണ്ടാകും.

  • 8 ) ആസാ ഈ വാക്കുകളും ഓദേദ് പ്രവാചകന്റെ പ്രവചനവും കേട്ടപ്പോൾ അവൻ ധൈര്യപ്പെട്ടു, യെഹൂദയുടെയും ബെന്യാമിന്റെയും ദേശത്തുനിന്നൊക്കെയും എഫ്രയീംമലനാട്ടിൽ അവൻ പിടിച്ചിരുന്ന പട്ടണങ്ങളിൽനിന്നും മ്ളേച്ഛവിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെ നീക്കിക്കളകയും യഹോവയുടെ മണ്ഡപത്തിൻ മുമ്പിലുള്ള യഹോവയുടെ യാഗപീഠം പുതുക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.
