Mark 10: 46-52

  • 46 ) And they came to Jericho: and as he went out of Jericho with his disciples and a great number of people, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the highway side begging.

  • 47 ) And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, you son of David, have mercy on me.

  • 48 ) And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal, You son of David, have mercy on me.

  • 49 ) And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise, he calls you.

  • 50 ) And he, casting away his garment, rose, and came to Jesus.

  • 51 ) And Jesus answered and said unto him, What will you that I should do unto you? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight.

  • 52 ) And Jesus said unto him, Go your way, your faith has made you whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.

Mark 10: 46-52

  • 46 ) അവർ യെരീഹോവിൽ എത്തി, പിന്നെ അവൻ ശിഷ്യന്മാരോടും വലിയ പുരുഷാരത്തോടും കൂടെ യെരീഹോവിൽ നിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുമ്പോൾ തിമായിയുടെ മകനായ ബർത്തിമായി എന്ന കുരുടനായ ഒരു ഭിക്ഷക്കാരൻ വഴിയരികെ ഇരുന്നിരുന്നു.

  • 47 ) നസറായനായ യേശു എന്നു കേട്ടിട്ടു അവൻ ദാവീദ് പുത്രാ, യേശുവേ, എന്നോടു കരുണ തോന്നേണമേ എന്നു നിലവിളിച്ചു തുടങ്ങി.

  • 48 ) മിണ്ടാതിരിപ്പാൻ പലരും അവനെ ശാസിച്ചിട്ടും: ദാവീദുപുത്രാ, എന്നോടു കരുണ തോന്നേണമേ എന്നു അവൻ ഏറ്റവും അധികം നിലവിളിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞു.

  • 49 ) അപ്പോൾ യേശു നിന്നു: അവനെ വിളിപ്പിൻ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. ധൈര്യപ്പെടുക, എഴുന്നേൽക്ക, നിന്നെ വിളിക്കുന്നു എന്നു അവർ പറഞ്ഞു കുരുടനെ വിളിച്ചു.

  • 50 ) അവൻ തന്റെ പുതപ്പു ഇട്ടും കളഞ്ഞു ചാടിയെഴുന്നേറ്റു യേശുവിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു.

  • 51 ) യേശു അവനോടു: “ഞാൻ നിനക്കു എന്തു ചെയ്തുതരേണമെന്നു നീ ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്നു” എന്നു ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു: റബ്ബൂനീ, എനിക്കു കാഴ്ച പ്രാപിക്കേണമെന്നു കുരുടൻ അവനോടു പറഞ്ഞു.

  • 52 ) യേശു അവനോടു: പോക, നിന്റെ വിശ്വാസം നിന്നെ രക്ഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. ഉടനെ അവൻ കാഴ്ച പ്രാപിച്ചു യാത്രയിൽ അവനെ അനുഗമിച്ചു.
